Hello booklings! So I've been thinking of new ideas for what to post here aside from my standard book reviews. As it's summer time and a flood of anticipated novels are publishing soon, I'm always hunting down the releases of the week...so voila! I'll do a "Top 5 Tuesday" or something of the like, showcasing the novels publishing each week.
Likely all books will be in the fantasy genre, but expect a healthy mix of YA and Adult. I'm sure I'll include a rogue contemporary or romance in here and there, especially if there's a lot of interest-worthy buzz. I don't promise to read all the books I'll showcase, and I'm not necessarily staking my reputation on recommending them, but they're going to be the books that catch my eye and have me intrigued, at the least! I'm thinking I'll also pick my "most anticipated" release of the week, giving it the number 1 slot of the lineup - these will, obviously, be the ones I do intend to read and review. If I was lucky enough to score an ARC from the publisher, I'll link my reviews with each book at the time of the post, but mostly I expect the lineup to just include the book synopsis and publishing info. Not too in-depth in regards to my thoughts on each one, but hey that's what the future review is for!
So, let's get started with week 1...YAY! (Technically, I'm a few days late and post-dating this, but I wanted to start cleanly with the beginning of June. Also, I'm listing 7 books, not 5. *shrugs* Technicalities.)

The Ministry of Utmost Happiness | Arundhati Roy

I Can't Make This Up | Kevin Hart
