About

I like words.

A lot. I read them. I write them. I rearrange them. I make some of them up. If you’re interested in some bookish thoughts, check out The Book Yogi. Along with writing it, I read a lot of fantasy, and occasionally blog about books there.

I also get pretty creative in my day job, currently serving as Marketing Director for a world-class CX event. At the end of the day, my family keeps me sane (or a little insane?) and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m a creative medley—I love the art of language and the language of art, and that love takes me on amazing journeys.

Author Bio

Virginia DeFeo is a fantasy writer who discovered her love of writing at a young age when she found the ending to a story was simply not how she would have told it. She decided then she would write what she wanted to read, and has been crafting tales ever since. When not furiously typing, she enjoys traveling to mystical places, finding time for yoga, creative hobbies, and K-dramas.

She currently lives in New York with her husband, two rambunctious young boys, a bossy French Bulldog, and an exasperated African Grey. The Gods Who Fall is her debut fantasy novel.
